    The
    US Department of State, announced Thursday, on the participation of ten
    Iraqi police officers in a training programme held under its auspices
    over the three weeks, indicating that the program includes training in
    the areas of criminal investigation and internal violence, leadership
    and management.

    The Ministry said in a statement published on its
    official website, and obtained (range), the United States hosted the
    first time a women's team consists of 10 Iraqi police officers involved
    in the police education programme sponsored by the IPEP over three
    weeks. "

    The Ministry said, "the Assistant Secretary, Bureau of
    international narcotics and law enforcement INL, Ambassador William
    brownfield, the Iraqi Interior Ministry's efforts to develop the
    capacity of police officers to receive training to prepare them for
    leadership."

    The Ministry stressed that "the women's delegation
    to the Iraqi Ministry of Interior representing several disciplines
    including criminal investigation, internal violence and training
    modules.

    The State said in its statement that "training course
    will be held in the States of Michigan and Maryland, where Iraqi
    officers will work with police officers there and receive lectures from
    us police officers and participate in practical tasks on the site and
    about American culture in this area."

    The Ministry said,
    according to the statement, the "specialist training will focus on
    criminal investigation, criminal investigation and crime scene
    processing", noting that "the training will also focus on techniques to
    combat violence against women, leadership and management training that
    would provide means of advancement in the profession."

    The
    Ministry said according to the statement, that "Iraqi police IPEP
    education programme run by the International Association of Chiefs of
    police and police departments and funded according to grant
    International Affairs Office for drug control and law enforcement, and
    INL have facilitated the grant of eight million dollars and a five-year
    period of training more than 100 Iraqi police officers since the start
    of the programme in 2010.

    The Iraqi Interior Ministry in
    celebrated (13 November 2009), with the first meal of the police
    officers brought together 50 women university graduates.
