Twilight News / suggested by Vice President Iyad Allawi on Thursday during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Iraq Chen Licheng ambassador to the formation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Iraqi - Chinese.
A statement by the office of Allawi responded to Twilight News, that the meeting dealt with a number of issues of common concern and ways of boosting relations between the two countries to advanced levels.
Allawi called for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in scientific, industrial, commercial and political fields, pointing to the need to benefit from the potential of China as a major and influential permanent member of the UN Security Council and to serve the mutual interests between the two countries.
Allawi also suggested the need for the formation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Iraqi Chinese joint to promote cooperation between the two countries, while stressing the importance of establishing strategic relationships.
He noted the pivotal role of China on the world stage and the big potential in restoring balance to the international relations and contribute to calming the situation in the Middle East inflamed, calling for mutual visits between the two officials stepped in to activate the prospects of cooperation and consultation on various issues.
The statement said that Allawi put the Chinese ambassador to the guest in the form of war waged on Iraq, terrorism and the perceptions of the post-Daesh.
He stressed the need to develop relations between the National Accord Party, the National Coalition and the Communist Party of China, while Chen expressed his appreciation for the proposals of Mr. Allawi, promising to transfer to his government.
