    It is said that the Minister of Health and Environment Adila Hammoud called for in the (January 6, 2016), police departments and help prevent the sale of fireworks in the local markets. 
    A statement by the ministry , said , "Secretary of Health and Environment Adila Hammoud stressed the local police departments and help in the Interior Ministry to prevent the sale and trading of fireworks in shops wholesale and singular in Baghdad and the provinces in order to preserve the safety of children from injuries." 
    For his part, deputy head of the security committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council , Mohammed al - Rubaie said in his speech (range), " The previous session of the Council embarked on a law banning the import of fireworks, and in this session , emphasis was placed on this issue." 
    Rubaie said " The emphasis was on all fireworks, especially (pistol Alsjm) because of the problems affecting the eyes directly, but there are many problems facing this issue." 
    " The provincial council initiated the law, but there must be a role for the executive and legislative branches aswell, on this issue , " stressing that " the Council called in many times the importance of a formal law legislation on the matter." 
    He said al - Rubaie, said that "fireworks are imported from abroad and in the home is sold heavily, and this makes it difficult, that is controlled importer and accountable president , " pointing out that " the Council in the process of legislation tougher against the vendors of these Games Act." 
    The Baghdad Provincial Council and since 2010 calling for a ban on import of toys manufactured in the form of plastic weapons , as the relevant authorities reason to take the necessary measures to prevent the import of children 's fireworks and prevent the circulation in stores, that poses a threat to children 's health in addition to its contribution to devote culture violence.
