Said Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq Salem Ghassab Zamanan Tuesday that the Higher Ministerial Committee Kuwait - Iraq will sign a number of important bilateral agreements to strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Zamanan said in a press statement following his meeting with Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the multi-party relations and legal affairs Omar Barzanji, said that preparations are underway to hold the meetings of the Committee where he is likely to be held later this month.
The Supreme Ministerial Committee last met in Kuwait on December 23 last year, it was agreed between the two countries to overcome all obstacles and resolving outstanding issues over the past years between the two countries.
The two countries held five rounds of meetings of the Higher Ministerial Committee, alternating between the capitals of the two countries, which resulted in the conclusion of several bilateral agreements in various sectors.
