    The Federal Court hears a case concerning the system of distribution of parliamentary seats


    The Federal Supreme Court considered the case concerning the system of distribution of seats in the House of Representatives No. (12) for the year 2018, and decided to postpone the hearing until the 13th of next month.
    "The Supreme Federal Court held its session under the chairmanship of Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud and the presence of all members of the judges, and considered the appeal of the system of distribution of seats in the House of Representatives, where the plaintiff in his case the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Electoral Commission for elections," in addition to his job.
    "The court asked the prosecutor to present an explanatory note to the statement of his case, and I felt that its role is to examine the constitutionality of the legislation and not the illegality of the proceedings."
    He pointed out that "the Federal Supreme Court requested that the memorandum be submitted ten days before the date of the next hearing, which will be on the thirteenth of November."
