The Council of Ministers dismisses and transfers general directors and determines the remuneration of polling officials

The Council of Ministers, in its session held yesterday, Tuesday, headed by the Speaker of the Council, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, approved the ideas and proposals that the youth submitted to the Prime Minister at the National Conference for Youth Dialogue that was held in Baghdad.
A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office stated that, with regard to completing the procedures for the new Sadr City project, the Council approved the transfer of the Ministry of Finance's ownership of the plot of land numbered (72/2 M11), (Tulul al-Nass), to the Baghdad Municipality; To construct a residential complex in accordance with the amended Expropriation Law (12 of 1981).
The statement added that the Prime Minister directed the specialized authorities to prepare a draft law to amend Staffing Law No. 25 of 1960, in order to accommodate job titles, including those of medical and health professionals.
The Council approved the evaluations of (76) general managers within the second batch of evaluating general managers in ministries and entities not associated with a ministry, by adopting the criteria and mechanisms prepared by the committee formed according to Diwani Order (23059) to evaluate general managers.
The statement indicated that the evaluations were as follows: the transfer of 3 general managers Asala / with a lower degree or referral to retirement, the termination of the assignment of 12 general managers in agency or conducting business, the rotation of three general managers Asala, the transfer of the general manager of Asala to another ministry, and the re-evaluation of 57 general managers Asala. Agency after six months.
The Council approved the committee’s recommendations, which stipulated valuing the efforts of general managers whose ratings were high, by providing a shield of creativity and excellence, as well as forming an institutional performance evaluation department in every ministry or entity not linked to a ministry, for the purpose of sustaining the process of evaluating administrative leaders in accordance with approved standards and mechanisms, and establishing The Iraqi Center for Government Excellence to be a scientific reference for government performance standards and their development.
The Council issued an amendment to Cabinet Resolution (23437) for the year 2023 regarding entry visas for visitors to the Arbaeen pilgrimage, to become "making entry visas for visitors from the countries of Yemen, Lebanon, Pakistan and Afghanistan free from the beginning of the month of Safar until its end."
Within the framework of governmental treatments of the environmental effects of pollution, the Council approved the national strategy and action plan to reduce environmental pollution in Iraq (2023-2030), and approved it as a roadmap for setting annual plans and programs, the five-year plan and the financial costs required in preparing the annual budget for the ministries.
The Council decided to grant a financial reward to (state employees, graduates, and students) who work for one day as a polling officer to secure the holding of provincial elections on December 18, 2023.
The Council approved the allocation by the Ministry of Finance of an amount of (500) million dinars to the Ministry of Culture. To cover the expenses of the activities of the General Authority for Theater Festival for the year 2024.
