Shafaq News/ A local source in Kirkuk Governorate reported on Thursday that a ministerial order was issued by the Iraqi Minister of Oil to dismiss the Director General of the North Oil Company, Burkan Hassan Abdullah, from his position and assign a second person to manage the company.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The dismissal order was issued for technical reasons related to the work of the North Oil Company, and other matters specified by the Ministry of Oil for the purpose of relieving him of his position after more than four years of assuming the position."
The source added that "the ministry has assigned one of the assistants of the Northern Oil Company to manage the company's affairs until a new general manager is nominated for the company."
The source indicated that "the dismissed director was assigned the position of Assistant Director General of the Northern Oil Company for Technical Affairs."
