Shafaq News/ The Parliamentary Federal Service and Strategic Planning Committee revealed, on Saturday, the details and steps of the Prime Minister’s plan to evaluate the performance of ministers, to complement the plans to evaluate the performance of general directors.
Committee member Muhammad Karim Al-Baldawi told Shafaq News Agency, “The stage of evaluating the ministers’ performance began after approving the budget, which is a legitimate constitutional right for the ministries, and it is approaching its end with a scheduled period of 6 months.”
He continued, "The Prime Minister will issue an evaluation of the performance of the ministers, accompanied by an evaluation of the Federal Strategic and Service Planning Committee regarding the ministerial performance to take the necessary measures to complete the plan that began in stages in accordance with the measures taken against former general directors."
Regarding the summoning and interrogation of ministers in Parliament, Al-Baldawi stated that “summoning and interrogation are constitutional procedures that are being implemented and are awaiting the end of the ministers’ evaluation period to take the necessary measures.”
