Member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, Ali Al-Mashkoor, revealed today, Monday, the latest details of the oil smuggling operations, stressing that the real committee submitted a comprehensive report to the Prime Minister regarding those involved in oil smuggling.
Al-Mashkoor told / Al-Maalouma / agency, "We conducted many investigations in coordination with the security agencies and the relevant authorities in the Ministry of Oil."
He added that "the report confirmed the points of failure within the Ministry of Oil in terms of technical matters as well as the points of failure with the security agencies, noting that the Oil and Gas Committee prepared a set of recommendations that were submitted to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Oil regarding oil smuggling operations."
He continued that "the recommendations are now in the possession of the government," calling for "taking the necessary measures to prosecute and hold accountable those involved in oil smuggling." End / 25 H
