Al-Sudani stresses the importance of assigning legislative authority to executive bodies

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani stressed yesterday, Wednesday, the importance of assigning legislative authority and national powers to the executive bodies in the ministries, while calling for the necessity of proceeding with a service and economic program that improves the services provided in Diwaniyah Governorate.
A statement from his office stated, “The Prime Minister received the head of the Victory Coalition, Haider Jawad al-Abadi, and during the meeting, all national issues and files, the progress of implementation of the government program, and the most important current issues at the legislative and executive levels were discussed.”
Al-Sudani stressed, according to the statement, “the importance of assigning legislative authority and national forces to the executive bodies in the ministries, and their counterparts in the local governments of the governorates, in order to provide a level of service that meets the aspirations of citizens, and pushes the wheel of development and infrastructure forward.”
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister urged the need to proceed with a service and economic program that improves the services provided in Diwaniyah, stressing that the governorate needs quick measures that the citizen is waiting for.
Another statement stated, “The Prime Minister received the new Governor of Diwaniyah, Abbas Shuail Al-Zamili, the Chairman of the Provincial Council, Muhammad Shakhir Farhoud Al-Ghanmi, and members of the Provincial Council,” indicating that “Al-Sudani congratulated the governor and the council for carrying out their duties and choosing the local government.”
Al-Sudani stressed, according to the statement, “the necessity of proceeding with a service and economic program that improves the services provided in the governorate’s center, districts, and environs, and is at the level of ambition of the people of the governorate, and is consistent with the government program and the service, social, and economic priorities that it has adopted.”
He reaffirmed "the federal government's support and support of the work of local governments and their executive bodies, as the parallel arm for the work of ministries, and the importance of completing strategic projects and moving local service to what satisfies the citizen, achieves stability and increases the opportunities for economic and social development."
