Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, confirmed “The parliament appreciation for the role of the working class in developing and building Iraq.”
A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi received a delegation of the International Syndicates headed by Kamal Olcan, head of the International Industries Union at his office in Baghdad on Thursday.”
“Both sides discussed the role of the workers in Iraq and the recent updates regarding the endorsement of Syndicates law,” the statement added.
“Nijaifi assured the parliament respect and support for the working class,” the statement concluded.
