[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ibrahim al-Rikabi of the State of Law Coalition described the expected visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu to Tuz Khurmatu, which I mostly resided by Turkmens, as blatant interference in Iraq’s affairs.[/ltr]
[ltr]Tuz Khurmatu was subject to repeated bombings over the past weeks that led to dozens of deaths and injuries.[/ltr]
[ltr]Some media outlets reported that the Turkish President plans to visit Tuz district to check on the Turkmens’ conditions and express Turkey’s full support to the Turkmens in Iraq.[/ltr]

[ltr]Rikabi told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “If this visit will not stick to the diplomatic standards, then it will be outright intervention in Iraq’s affairs and it is not permissible for him to visit Tuz district without the Iraqi government’s approval.”[/ltr]
[ltr]He called the Turkish officials to rehabilitate their country’s affairs and calm down the protests against the Turkish government’s dictatorship instead of conducting unlawful visit to Tuz Khurmatu. [/ltr]
