Iraq Stock Exchange registered a decline in the number and value of shares traded in the market during theweek ending twenty - third of February , the current.

The executive director of the market , Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam said in a statement received "direction Press" , a copy of " The Iraq Stock Exchange systems during the week ending twenty - third of February , the current five sessions trading in the formal market and three sessions in the second market where the number ofcompanies listed on the market (97) joint - stock company, of which 70 companies listed in the formal market and 27 companies listed in the second market traded during hearings last week , shares of 58 companies in the formal market and (2) companies in the second market. "

He said Abdel-Salam said "the number of companies suspended from trading for failing to submit annual and quarterly disclosure of the body and the market was during the last week (15) company while the total number of shares listed on the market (9.734) trillion shares."

"The trading data analysis of last week's note that the number of shares traded last week declined by (94.85%) compared to the week, which was accepted, and that the total value of shares traded last week fell by (92.05%) compared to last week, while the market index / ISX 60 / it rose by (1.69%) all closed for the week before when it closed at (712.19) points, and that the market value last week rose by 3.7% compared to the preceding week amounting to (9.718) trillion dinars. ".
