    Prime Minister Haider Abadi, on Saturday, the need to develop a comprehensive plan to end the escalation in Syria, pointing out that the use of chemical weapons in it is a crime condemned and denounced. Between Iraq's stand with the Syrian people.
    "The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi received a telephone call from US Vice President Mike Pence," the press office of Abadi said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
    The statement added that "during the communication discussed the conduct of the battle of Mosul and the victories achieved and the continuation of international support for Iraq in the fight against terrorism and the situation in the region."

    As for the situation in the region, especially Syria, Abbadi said that "Iraq considers the use of chemical weapons in Syria as a condemned and condemned crime," adding that "we are with the Syrian people who were victimized as the Iraqi people were also victims of beating the Kamiawi by the former regime."
    The prime minister called for "an urgent and thorough international investigation and condemnation of anyone who has done so," stressing that "a comprehensive plan must be put in place to end the ongoing escalation in Syria and unify efforts to eliminate and stop the organization of Da'id and other terrorist organizations."
    "The United States is monitoring the situation in Syria and our primary focus is on Iraq's advocacy and advice, and its position, which was mentioned, is important for us," Bens said.
