TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran will boost production of West Karon oilfields to 500,000

The production of six oil fields in western Karoun, in southwestern Iran, will reach 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) until June 21, 2017, the managing director of Metn Engineering and Development said.
"The increase will include the production of Azadkan North and South, Yaran North and South, Yadoran and Darkhwain," said Noureddine Chahnazi Zadeh.
He pointed out that the implementation of the early extraction project in the field of Azadkan South will raise the capacity to 100 thousand barrels per day until June 21 next.
He added that the extraction capacity will reach 10 thousand barrels per day in the field of southern Yarran, and with the calculation of the production of 75 thousand barrels of oil in the field Azadkan North and 110 thousand barrels in the field of Yadoran and 30 thousand barrels in the field of northern Yarran and about 160 thousand barrels in the field of Darkhwin, To about 500 thousand barrels per day.
