[rtl]Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, Gholam Ali Khoshro, has expressed readiness to cooperate with the new UN representative in Yemen, Martin Griffiths, to end the three-year-old crisis in Yemen..[/rtl]
[rtl]During his meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York, Khoshro pointed to the dire humanitarian situation in Yemen and stressed the need to reach a political solution to the crisis, warning that supporting any unthought and unique action in the Security Council could lead to further deterioration in Yemen..[/rtl]
[rtl]For his part, the Secretary-General of the United Nations said during the meeting that he will make every effort to reach a political reconciliation in Yemen.[/rtl]
[rtl]The two sides also stressed the need to continue the political process to resolve the crisis in Syria.[/rtl]
[rtl]During the meeting, Khoshro thanked the UN Secretary-General for his condolences to the families of the victims of the recent air incident in Iran.[/rtl]
