According to an embassy source, most of the material on the page was in Slovak. The source pointed out that the embassy did not know the reason for the ban and said: "At the same time working in Facebook, without embarrassment, fake pages for some time."
Among the fraud is the cyclist, often under the name of "Soviet Embassy in Czechoslovakia," which publishes blatant lies.
The source noted that the administrator of the page of the Russian Embassy in Slovakia is trying to verify and know the reasons for blocking and hopes to raise it soon.
In February, Facebook blocked the page of Russian President Vladimir Putin's Internet development adviser, Norman Kilimanko, who said at the time that the initiative to block his page came from the Russian television writer and broadcaster Stanislav Khankishiv, known as Stalik.
Member of the State Duma Vitaly Manilov was also subjected to blockage and arrest because of the publication of a material that included the word "Khokhul" (Khokhul is the head of the shaved and long-necked and used to refer to the Ukrainian love or sometimes for joking and ridicule).
