    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The General Commander of the Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki, called the security forces to be vigilant while implementing their duties.
    A statement by Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Maliki emphasized, during his visit to the headquarters of the Iraqi Army 10th Division in Maysan province, the unity of Iraq.”
    “He praised the efforts exerted by the security forces, calling them to be more cautious,” the statement added.
    “Addressing the soldiers, he mentioned that Iraq needs their efforts and sacrifices to eliminate the security breaches and the sectarianism,” the statement continued.
    “He confirmed that Iraq is a country of huge resources and it will be stable thanks to the efforts of the security forces,” the statement concluded.
    Maliki arrived at Maysan on Sunday morning.
