Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, on Thursday, surprised by the remarks of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the right of popular mobilization, calling on neighboring and friendly countries not to interfere in Iraq's internal affairs.
"We are surprised by the statement of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the body of popular mobilization, which is an internal Iraqi affair should not interfere with him," Abadi said in a statement. Abadi urged neighboring and friendly countries to "not interfere in their internal affairs and support him in his war against this enemy, which is a challenge for the whole region and the world."
On Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the popular rally as a "terrorist organization", revealing a date for a close meeting with the US president to discuss Iraq and Syria.
