    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Energy Affairs Committee within the Council of Ministers decided to form a committee chaired by the Head of Energy Committee, Hussein al-Shahristani, to assume encouraging investment in Iraq.The Committee reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Committee decided during Monday session to form higher committee to encourage investment in Iraq, ” noting that ”The formed Committee will be chaired by Shahristani and membership of Minister of Oil, Minister of Electricity and several experts within the ministries.””The committee will assume encouraging investment in Iraq by setting policies and plans to upgrade the investment sector and to overcome bureaucratic complications that hinder investment in State institutions since Iraq in need for electricity power in future,” the statement concluded. \END\

    Affairs Committee decided to power in the Council of Ministers to form a committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Hussain al-Shahristani to encourage investment in the electricity sector. Statement of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussain al-Shahristani received (morning) a copy of it pointed out that "the Committee on Energy in the Council of Ministers decided at its meeting last Monday the formation of a higher committee to encourage investment in the electricity sector under the chairmanship of Hussein al-Shahristani and the membership of the ministers of oil, electricity and a number of specialists in the two ministries . "The statement added that" the formation of this committee was to encourage investors to work in the electricity sector and the development of policies, plans and alternatives for the advancement of this sector to the country's need in the future for electric power, and also to overcome the bureaucratic red tape faced by investing in state institutions. "
