The newspaper "Nezavisimaya Gazeta" published an article written by Vladimir Scosyrev the Pentagon for the transfer of elements of the system "THAAD" to South Korea's secret scandal; noting that Seoul has decided to investigate the matter.

He wrote Scosyrev:

The United States succeeded in the test system to intercept intercontinental ballistic over the Pacific Ocean ballistic missiles. The announcement was a step to protect America from North Korea's missiles.

He described the director of the agency responsible for the missile shield system program at the Pentagon Marine team Jim Sirén test as a great achievement. He said that "This system is very necessary to protect our homeland, and the test shows that we have the means guaranteed to respond to the real danger."
