Canada: Our aircraft are continuing their missions in Iraq
Canadian military aircraft involved in the fight against a terrorist organization are continuing their missions in Iraq," the commander of the Canadian military mission in Iraq and Syria, General Daniel Masisak, said.
"The military operations of fighter aircraft have recently been limited to Iraq, with sufficient work for military aircraft, where the organization of the terrorist advocate still exists in some areas despite the liberation of Mosul," Masisak said in a statement.
The Canadian government recently extended the Canadian military mission against Dahesh until the end of March 2019.
Canada is an active member of the US-led international coalition to fight a terrorist organization in Iraq and Syria.
