    Al-Hadithi said during the weekly press briefing yesterday that "the Council of Ministers passed the draft law on" graft ", which comes in line with the government's directions to find an integrated legal system to fight corruption, and continue to fight the scourge and cut off its food and shut down its outlets, Of this serious problem that threatens the Iraqi economy and the structure of the state. "
    Al-Hadithi pointed out that the law came as a "complement to the legislative and procedural anti-corruption system and to complement the government's courses of action which guarantee transparency, control and auditing, protect public funds and prevent the possibility of exploiting the job position in achieving or benefiting from the illicit gain to achieve personal benefits and to put those who exploit their jobs In illicit enrichment at the expense of public funds under the charge of legal accountability and prosecution. "
    A spokesman for the Prime Minister's Information Office said that the law defines illegal graft as follows:
    1. Any money the public service recipient receives because of work, influence, conditions of his job or position or because of the exploitation of any of that.
    2. Any money obtained by any natural or juridical person through his complicity with any person charged with a public service.
    3 - All that the public service provider did not mention in the form of financial disclosure submitted to him or provided and did not prove to him a legitimate source.
    4 - Any increase that occurs due to the assignment of the General Service or his minor children or the guardian or guardian or values ​​when they are not commensurate with their resources and is not justified. Formation of the National Housing Initiative Committee Within the framework of government efforts to support the housing sector, Al-Hadithi confirmed the approval of the Council of Ministers on the formation of the National Housing Initiative Committee headed by Prime Minister Haider Al-Abbadi and the membership of the Minister of Construction and Housing, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, The head of the National Investment Authority, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and the head of the Secretariat of the Higher Coordinating Committee of the Governorates. The Department of Housing shall be allocated the land belonging to the State required for housing projects and may occupy any land belonging to the State free of charge in coordination with the owner, as well as the acquisition of the real estate needed to achieve its objectives.           4. The National Housing Initiative Committee shall consider cases in which allotment decisions have been issued and the procedures have not been completed. Al-Hadithi confirmed the Cabinet's approval of the recommendations of the National Housing Council, which are as follows: 1 - The distribution of plots of residential land not serviced, covered by the instructions of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and the Municipality of Baghdad with a allowance of 50./.
