South Korea's imports of Iranian oil rose 26.5% in July
Preliminary data from the South Korean customs authority showed import of 1.4 million tons of crude oil from Iran in July, up 26.5 percent year-on-year.
That is 10.2 million barrels, according to Reuters calculations.
The world's fifth-largest crude buyer imported 12.4 million tonnes of crude last month, up from 12.1 million tonnes a year ago, according to figures.
The final data for South Korea's crude oil imports are published last month later this month by the Korea National Oil Corporation, whose figures are the benchmark for Seoul's crude imports.
