The Authority said in a statement: «The Directorate, in its talk about the seizure, which was carried out pursuant to a judicial note, revealed the receipt of information on the existence of people who want to pass a forged instrument in the amount of five billion dinars through the Rafidain Bank - the General Administration, The forged instrument and two other persons who were accompanying him. "
She added that "the department's control team set up a record of the seizure of the criminal evidence and presented it with the investigative papers to the judge who ordered the arrest of the suspects, and also decided to issue an order to arrest and investigate the other suspects have been involved in the case."
In the meantime, the Commission announced on Thursday the issuance of the Criminal Court on the issues of integrity sentenced to two years imprisonment against the Director General of Iraqi Airways on the basis of the provisions of Article 310 of the Penal Code.
In mid-August, the Integrity Commission announced an arrest warrant against the director general of Iraqi Airways, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
The Commission said: «The decision of the verdict against the convicted gave the right to the affected party to establish a civil lawsuit to claim compensation once the decision to obtain a decisive degree».
It should be noted that one of the provisions of Article 310 of the Iraqi Penal Code is that "anyone who gives, presents, offers or promises to give to an employee or a public service officer anything from what is stated in article (308) is counted as Rashaya. The bribe and the mediator punish the penalty prescribed by law for the bribe ».
Article (308) stipulates that "Every employee or public service officer shall request or accept for himself or another person a gift or benefit or promise of any of that to perform the work or refrain from work that is not in the work of his job but he claims or believes that he shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding Seven years or imprisonment and a fine not less than what was requested or given or promised and does not in any way exceed five hundred dinars ».
