The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned on Sunday the siege of the American fighter jets for a demonstration in Syria, adding that "war with a sympathizer is completely different from killing innocent people and ordinary people," as she put it.
"The American step in besieging women and children, taking into account the record of cooperation between the US administration and Da'ash, is illogical," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi told a news briefing on Sunday.
"We believe that this attempt is aimed at negatively affecting the victory of the Lebanese government and resistance," he said.
Qassimi said that the aerial siege of women, children and civilians, which led to the deaths of a number of pregnant women during the past two days can cause and if they continue to a humanitarian disaster and help spread violence in the region.
He also called on the United Nations to intervene to prevent massacres against innocent people in the region.
The American-led coalition said Sunday it would continue to prevent a convoy of supporters from the Lebanese town of Jaroud Arsal from moving eastwards to the organization's land in Syria, stressing that the convoy had been divided into two groups.
The coalition said in an e-mail statement today (September 3, 2017) that a group of buses remained in the desert while another group returned to areas controlled by the government.
The coalition said it would monitor the convoy and prevent it from entering the territory of the organization and that the remaining buses in the desert, which includes fighters and their families received food and water, without giving any further details, according to Reuters.
Hundreds of fighters from the al-Dahed organization withdrew from a pocket they control in the border area between Lebanon and Syria on Monday.
This came on the basis of a cease-fire agreement with Hezbollah and the Syrian government allowed them to go with their families to a town controlled by an advocate in eastern Syria near the border with Iraq, but the coalition says that Iraq is not part of the deal, The convoy goes.
The convoy then stopped in a desert area under the control of the Syrian government called Al-Sokhna between the provinces of Homs and Deir al-Zour.
