Kuwait's oil, electricity and water minister Essam al-Marzouq announced his country's approval of Iraq's offer to export natural gas to Kuwait as part of the compensation due.
"The Kuwaiti and Iraqi sides are currently discussing the price details," Marzouk said on the sidelines of the German embassy in Germany. "The beginning will be 50 million cubic feet and will reach 200 million cubic feet," he said without elaborating.
The Iraqi government announced in August 2017, negotiating with officials in Kuwait to sell gas instead of paying money as part of the compensation imposed on Baghdad, the invasion of Kuwait in 1990 [size=16].[/size]
