    [ltr]A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News cited “Hakim, while visiting Najaf province, met with the Religious Authorities, Mohammed Saed al-Hakim, Mohammed Ishaq al-Fayadh and Bashir al-Najafi.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“He called the Almighty to protect them due to their role in the Islamic Nation and Iraq in particular,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
