Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi announced an unprecedented increase in oil exports from southern ports.
"For the first time in the history of Iraq, the rate of exports from the southern ports is 3,535,000 million barrels per day in December," the oil minister said in a telegram to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi. 2017 with an export volume of 110 million barrels.
"This is a global achievement that will increase Iraq's economic standing and its impact on the global energy market."
He pointed out that "the leadership of the Ministry of Oil continues its achievements in all directions and sectors to promote the economic and development of the country."
