President of the Republic Fuad Masoum on Monday discussed with Algerian Energy Minister Mustapha Qaitouni and his accompanying delegation in the presence of Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi to promote economic relations in the field of energy and oil.
"The importance of exchanging experiences to support oil prices in world markets," Masoum said, according to a statement of the presidency of the republic, stressing the desire of Iraq to benefit from the Algerian expertise in the field of developing oil industries, as well as strengthening coordination within the framework of the Organization of Exporting Countries Of oil (OPEC). "
He also stressed the "determination of Iraqis to begin the stage of reconstruction and reconstruction after defeating the Wahhabist preacher and the liberation of all the areas controlled by them, and continue to work on building a free, democratic, federal and prosperous."
For his part, the Algerian Energy Minister stressed "his country's full support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and readiness to develop and expand cooperation in the oil field, pointing to the importance of coordination between the two countries on ways to support oil prices in world markets."
