[ltr]Deputy Director of the development of the field of Majnoon oil in Basra, Muhannad Abdul Zahra, Wednesday, the direct completion of 10 wells in the field of Majnoon and preparation for production, pointing out that there is a plan to complete the drilling of other productive wells.[/ltr]
[ltr]Abdul-Zahra said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "10 oil wells were completed in the Majnoon oil field in Basra and prepared for production."[/ltr]
[ltr]"It is hoped that these wells will be linked early next year in order to maintain the current capacity of the field on the one hand, and reduce the decline in reservoir pressures in other wells on the other hand."[/ltr]
[ltr]"There is a plan to complete the drilling of another 30 wells in the current decade and to achieve the ambition in tenders to increase production capacity to reach 400,000 barrels per day," he said.[/ltr]
