Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ali Al-Ghanim

, affirmed that the conference will be held on February 13, with the participation of 1850 companies.

Al-Ghanim said in an interview with "Economy News", "With the end of the registration period at the conference" Invest in Iraq ", which is held on the 13 th in the context of the Kuwait International Conference for the reconstruction of Iraq, exceeded the number of registered to attend the conference 2300 personalities representing more than 1850 companies from all over the world".

Al-Ghanim explained that the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the World Bank and the National Investment Commission in Iraq, is preparing the final arrangements for holding this important meeting which will address the open policies in Iraq to attract direct investments and modern legislation organizing them. Sectors and activities, especially energy, health, education, construction, communications, transport, environment and others.

Al-Ghanim added that the conference is characterized by the active participation of the World Bank and its financial institutions, which will provide financial guarantees for companies wishing to invest in Iraq, which will reduce the risk and ensure a clear economic and financial feasibility.

Al-Ghanim welcomed the guests of Kuwait participating in the conference on reconstruction of Iraq, which Kuwait took upon itself to establish and organize, convinced of the need to cooperate closely with Iraq to return to its strong role, regional and international civilization and economically.

I like this sentence a lot: "the conference is characterized by the active participation of the World Bank and its financial institutions, which will provide financial guarantees for companies wishing to invest in Iraq, which will reduce the risk and ensure a clear economic and financial feasibility".
