Baghdad Governorate: Health and educational projects in Nahrawan
29/4/2018 12:00 am [rtl]In coordination with the ministries of health, environment and education Baghdad / Wafa Amer coordinated Baghdad province with the ministries of health, environment and education to implement health and educational projects in the area of Nahrawan in order to raise the level of services. The governor of Baghdad, Atwan al-Atwani said in a special statement to the "morning": that Nahrawan suffers from the deterioration of the health situation, which called for the province to hold a meeting with the Department of Health Rusafa to determine the level of health services. He added that during the meeting, several demands were agreed upon, which the Directorate of Health of Rusafa could implement. The most important of these is the provision of health staff, medical supplies and medicines in the area, activating the role of immediate aid, and the placement of a number of health and professional staff. Al-Atwani added that the demands also included providing all the resources and possibilities that could enhance the ways of promoting health reality. He pointed out that periodic or bi-monthly meetings will be held to discuss what has been accomplished with a maximum time limit of 10 days to implement this. That can cure or reduce many of the health problems there. In the same context, he pointed to the province's agreement with officials in the education sector to provide a number of caravans, which will contribute to the strengthening of classrooms and the opening of new schools, as Baghdad needs 1200 schools in order to eliminate duplication of time with a severe shortage of basic services for schools. Governor of Baghdad said that the meeting touched on the service side through the procedures of completing the sewage project and the permanent solution and referred to the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, which was completed by the governorate and included within the projects of donor countries for the current year. It was agreed to hold a tripartite meeting between the governorate and the committee Coordination and the Ministry of Housing responsible for the project in order to develop all its merits.
