The emergency meeting of the Palestine Committee of the Union of Islamic Councils (ICU) began in Tehran on Monday with the participation of representatives from 22 countries, including Iraq.
The official Iranian news agency IRNA said in a news item that "the meeting will be addressed by Ali Larijani, the league's rotating president, and the secretary-general of the federation,
The meeting is being held at the invitation of Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, current chairman of the Islamic Councils Union, because of the US decision to change the embassy's embassy in occupied Jerusalem.
The one-day emergency meeting is attended by representatives from Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan Republic, Burkina Faso, Chad, Kuwait, Qatar, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Senegal. Ending / 25
