[rtl]Baquba / NINA / The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Diyala held its fifteenth international specialized scientific conference for water with Arab and international participation and in the presence of parliamentary, academic and institutional representatives.
Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, President of the University, said in his speech during the conference, which was held under the slogan (Water for Peace): The conference will discuss the issue of water and address its problems between neighboring countries,
and called for the necessity of addressing water problems between riparian countries and neighboring countries, and identifying the latest technology in Legalizing the use of water in general and monitoring the continued rise in temperatures and their impact on the future of the Earth, wishing those in charge of the conference good luck and success.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Louay Sayhoud Al-Tamimi, explained: The conference was held in cooperation with the United Nations and the Iranian Razi University, indicating that the celebration of World Water Day is an occasion that reminds us of the importance of this vital element in our lives and in the stability of the entire world, indicating that the challenges we face in the field of Water is not without a solution, and we can adopt multiple strategies to address this crisis and achieve global peace by strengthening international cooperation and partnership.
On the other hand, the Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, Dr. Wissam Miteb Muhammad, stated: The research papers submitted for participation amounted to (52) research papers from various Arab and regional countries, of which (35) research studies met the conditions for participation in the conference.
The opening session witnessed the showing of a documentary film on water produced by the international organization (UN WAETER), and the presentation of a number of research papers and ceremonies honoring the participants for the success of the conference./End
