    The deputy governor of Basra province Tawfiq al-Kaabi said Wednesday that the corruption process that accompanied the parliamentary elections that took place in Iraq reached a stage that must be followed by taking effective steps, pointing out that a parliamentary group was formed of about 176 deputies to cancel the election results and punish the members of the Board of Commissioners. 

    Al-Kaabi said in a press statement that we formed a group of about 176 deputies to demand the abolition of the election results and go to the process of counting and sorting and punish the members of the Board of Commissioners, adding that corruption in the elections reached a stage that requires us to take concrete steps and every Iraqi Sharif to reject this election by Means given the state of corruption it has witnessed. 

    He added that the most important demands of this group, which was formed to hold the House of Representatives an emergency session and issue a decision to cancel the election results or go to the process of manual counting of the results, and must be punished members of the Board of Commissioners.
