US President Donald Trump announced in a tweet via Twitter that the ZTE Group, one of China's largest technology companies, which relies mainly on its industries on US components, has been suspended.
Trump accused the former US administration of allowing the Chinese group to operate without restrictions, but said it could be restarted after promising high levels of protection.
The US president has ordered the reopening of the group's business to change its management, in addition to paying fines of up to $ 1.3 billion.
ZTE suspended its operational activities earlier, after Washington last month banned US companies from selling any components to the Chinese company for seven years for violating a 2017 settlement after being accused of illegally selling equipment. Some of them on American components, to North Korea and Iran.
Beijing has put the issue of finding a solution for the Chinese group, with about 80,000 employees, one of the main demands during the trade negotiations with Washington
