Ministry of Agriculture Spokesman Humaid Al-Nayef said in a press statement that the summer agricultural plan for this year was approved by the Joint Committee of the Ministries of Agriculture and Water Resources and is completely free of summer crops based on irrigation (rivers and irrigation projects) Yellow, white corn, sesame, millet, sunflower, cotton, cattle).
He added that the summer plan includes an area of 600,000 dunums for planting vegetables and other crops, as well as a water quota for palm orchards. He pointed out that the crops that depend on the wells in the irrigation process have been approved but in specific areas.
He explained that the approved plan represents 50% of the plan prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture this year, calling on farmers and farmers to abide by the instructions issued in this regard.
