The Criminal Court for Integrity Issues in the Presidency of the Rusafa federal appeal sentenced to ten years imprisonment against a clearing agent in the Rasheed Bank branch of Ramadi.
"The defendant has admitted to the issuance of forged instruments in agreement with the manager of the fugitive bank with a value of [612] million dinars to achieve personal benefit," the spokesman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Abdul Sattar Birqdar, said in a statement received by the agency All Iraq.
"The court issued its decision in accordance with Article 316 of the Iraqi Penal Code and after the availability of all convincing evidence."
