The governor of Basra province, Muzaffar Ismail, on Sunday, the existence of a US plan is being prepared to implement by pushing Saudi Arabia to invest in southern Iraq, pointing out that the United States failed politically in Iraq and came using its tools to carry out malicious errors in the oil-producing provinces.
"The American plans to interfere with Iraqi politics have failed, especially in the new parliamentary session, which led them to resort to other options, one of which may be the Iraqi economy," Ismail said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah.
He added that "there are many well-known foreign companies in addition to the Iraqi companies and expertise, which can invest in the southern provinces away US companies or allies of the country," noting that "Saudi Arabia's investment in the southern provinces to encourage and push the American to Ibscher okay, because the two sides will not enter the project cast But their plans are always to harm the other side. "
Ismail warned of "the government's submission to the American paid investments, especially in the southern provinces and producing oil, because they are harmful to the Iraqi economy, and carry out malicious schemes that harm the Iraqi citizen." Ending / 25 n
