Halabousi: The House of Representatives seeks to reform the system of institutions and support decentralizationAl-Nour News / Baghdad
The President of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halbusi, the Council seeks in the coming period to reform the system of institutions and support the decentralization system and increase the powers of the provinces.
Al-Halbusi received the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Baghdad Jan Vijetal on the occasion of the end of his duties in Iraq. During the meeting, they discussed the joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in several areas, notably the support of the joint security forces, training and reconstruction, .
"The efforts of the Czech Republic to participate in the war on terrorism and restore the stability of liberated cities," Halabousi said, calling for "more cooperation between the two friendly countries."
He added that "the House of Representatives seeks in the coming period to reform the system of institutions, and support the system of decentralization, and increase the powers of the provinces in such a way that provides a suitable ground to attract investors from all countries of the world, including the Czech Republic; to participate in reconstruction.
The speaker expressed his hope that "Vijtal will succeed in his new tasks," expressing "the willingness of the Iraqi government to further develop relations with the Czech Republic in all fields."
The statement pointed out that "Ambassador Vijtal thanked the Government of Iraq and its institutions for the cooperation and facilities provided by him during his term of office, submitting an official invitation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives to visit the Czech Republic and promise Halabousi to meet at the earliest opportunity."
