The Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance, on Wednesday, revealed the detection of the introduction of 250 million dinars of counterfeit currency to one of the branches of the Agricultural Bank.
"In cooperation with the Integrity Commission and the Cooperative Agricultural Bank, the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance has been able to detect the introduction of a counterfeit currency to one of the branches of the bank, where one of the employees of the bank was caught involved in the process and admitted the fraudulent currency The total amount (250) million dinars. "
The statement added that "the office has taken legal measures to deter anyone involved in this suspicious operation."
