Follow-up / newspaper rectitude - The Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning completed the inflation report for the month of January 2014 on the basis of field data collection for prices of goods and services components of the consumer basket of selected sample of sales outlets in all governorates of Iraq.
He said ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi said, "These rates are calculated from the goods and services, which include food, rent, transportation, communications, health, education and other than Iktnyh consumer."
Hindawi said that "indicators of annual inflation rose to a record 4% as a result of the high prices of some materials, especially food, which amounted to 9% at the level of Iraq, in addition to high housing department."
"The Department of Food Index, housing is still significantly affects the high and low inflation, noting" that "monthly inflation for January last and also witnessed a rise by 1.4%."
