The United States has exempted Iraq from the embargo on Iran and can buy energy from it, the US embassy in Baghdad said.
Hood explained at a news conference that what matters to America is not affected by the Iraqi economy any crisis and encourage others to invest in Iraq and support institutions in all areas.
He pointed out that the exchange of views under the existing congestion in the region is important and has no knowledge of the existence of Iraqi mediation and Washington can communicate directly with the Iranian side.
