    Iran's western region's electricity company Ali Asadi announced on Monday a new strategy to increase electricity exports to Iraq.
    Asadi said in a statement quoted by the agency "Fares" and briefed by "Economy News", "The company of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity (Tuanir) of the Iranian Ministry of Energy adopted a new strategy to raise the volume of electricity exports to Iraq."
    "With the increase in production capacity and the development of the transmission and distribution network in the western region, the possibility of doubling the export capacity of 600 MW will be available," he added.
    He pointed out that "Iran exports energy in significant quantities to neighboring countries through the network of the Western region, and the electricity company in this region, an export corridor of energy to Iraq."
