Iran to adopt new strategy to increase the export of electricity to Iraq

Iran's western region's electricity company Ali Asadi announced on Monday a new strategy to increase electricity exports to Iraq.
"The Iranian Electricity Ministry has adopted a new strategy to increase the volume of electricity exports to Iraq," Asadi said in a statement published by Fars.
"With the increase in production capacity and the development of the transmission and distribution network in the western region, the possibility of doubling the export capacity of 600 MW will be available," he added.
