    BAGHDAD -
The prime minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, said on Monday that investigations into the targeting of some of the crowd sites indicate that it was Israel.
"Investigations into the targeting of some of the crowd sites indicate that Israel did so," Abdel Mahdi said in an interview with Al Jazeera television.
Since July 19, a series of bombings have been launched in camps belonging to the Popular Mobilization in Iraq, the first in the town of Amerli in Salah al-Din province, followed by another bombing on the same month in the camp "Ashraf" in Diyala, eastern Iraq, and then camp "Falcon", south of Baghdad, on August 13 last.
A few days later, another bombing took place at Camp Balad, near Tikrit, and the assassination of Abu Ali al-Dabi, a leader of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades, near the city of Qaim on the border with Syria that same month.
The most recent target was a base in the Iraqi Mafraq area, which is part of the Iraqi-Jordanian-Syrian border triangle, west of Anbar.

Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi revealed Monday that investigations into the bombing of some of the Popular Mobilization sites indicate that Israel was behind the operation.
"Going to war could happen at any moment, by a single decision, but getting out of it would be difficult and harsh," Abdel-Mahdi said in an interview. "There are many indications that no one wants a war in the region except Israel."
He said Abdul Mahdi, "Talk now about how to formulate ends to resolve the Gulf crisis will put us in a dead end."
He added, "My visit to Saudi Arabia was to calm down and this means that there is a willingness to make concessions," adding: "I think that Saudi Arabia is looking for peace and the resolution of the Yemen crisis may be a key to the resolution of the Gulf crisis."
Since July 19, a series of bombings have been launched inside the Popular Mobilization Camps in Iraq. "

Abdul Mahdi: No one wants a war in the region except Israel Empty Shiite factions speak of a "close response" to Israel after Abdel Mahdi's statement

Shiite factions speak of a "close response" to Israel after Abdel Mahdi's statement

    2019/09/30 09:04:18

Deputy Secretary-General of the Abdal Movement - an armed Shiite faction - Kamal al-Hasnawi, commented on Sunday, accusing Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, Israel of being behind the bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization in Iraq.
Hasnawi said, "Twilight News," Iraq's official recognition of Israel's stand behind the bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization, gave full legitimacy and the right of the Iraqi resistance factions to respond to these attacks.
"The response will be very close, to the Zionist entity, after the recognition of Abdul Mahdi." According to him.
Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi told Al Jazeera television on Monday that Israel was behind attacks on Popular Mobilization sites in Iraq, the first direct charges from Baghdad to Israel.
"Investigations into targeting some of the crowd sites indicate that it was Israel," the channel quoted Abdel Mahdi as saying.
The Iranian-backed Popular Mobilization has repeatedly accused Israel of responsibility for drone attacks on its bases and weapons depots, including two that killed some of its fighters. He says the United States has provided air support.
Israel has so far officially declined to comment, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted last month that Israel might be involved. The Pentagon has denied involvement in the attacks.
Several sites of the Popular Mobilization have been targeted by unknown aircraft, the latest of which was on September 22, where two separate raids targeted two sites of the crowd, one north of Ramadi and the other near the city of Rutba, Anbar province.
In recent weeks, five bases used by the Popular Mobilization have also been subjected to mysterious bombings.
The bombings killed a member of the "Popular Mobilization" and wounded another, in light of Iraqi accusations of Israel to be behind the attacks, and hints from Tel Aviv.

Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi warned of war in the region and an individual decision.
"Going to war may happen at any moment by a single decision, but getting out of it will be difficult and harsh," Abdul Mahdi said in an interview with Al Jazeera.
"The specter of war must be kept out of the region and everyone is talking about accepting negotiations to resolve the crisis."
"There are many indications that no one wants a war in the region except Israel," he said.
