Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi warned of any process to resign the current government.
"Calling for the overthrow of the government and early elections is a legitimate right according to the constitution, but any resignation of the government without a constitutional alternative means leaving Iraq to chaos," Abdul Mahdi said in a speech.
