MP Mahmoud Mulla Talal announced the submission of official requests to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to question the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/132933/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%A9 %D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%B9%D9%80%D8%A9 %D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%82%D9%84][size=13]ministers of agriculture, industry and transport[/url] , on the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/4747/%D9%85%D9%84%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%AA %D9%81%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AF]files of corruption[/url] and administrative and financial irregularities.
Talal said in a press statement that "in accordance with the articles of the Constitution and the law and the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives, we have evidence and documents condemning some ministers in principle in their ministerial work, and we have completed several files we submitted to the President of the Parliament related to the ministers of agriculture, industry and transport." He added that "these measures are in the framework of strengthening the work of the government and its ministerial program, and to modify the course of the government program by identifying some of the offenses and violations committed by some ministries," noting that "there are other files belonging to other ministries will be submitted in the coming period after the completion of the collection and audit of their documents."
He explained that "most of the files belong to the ministries during the current session, and there are some files, including the administrative work procedures of some ministers who were the post of Director-General at the time." He pointed out that "verbal and written questions were sent to the ministers, and the answers were mostly inaccurate, and some ministers evaded answering them because there is compelling evidence, so we will proceed to the questioning before the parliament."
