The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced the allocation of 500,000 dinars to workers in direct contact with those affected by Corona.
The secretariat said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (AWA) that "in continuation of the support of the Ministry of Health and the Diwani Order Committee (55 for 2020) on reducing the spread of the coronavirus, the Council of Ministers decided at its regular session a set of measures to counter the virus."

"The measures included authorizing the Ministry of Health to close public or private institutions when they violated orders, as well as the Ministry of Interior extending the stay of employees of foreign companies without leaving," the statement said, noting that "the procedures included 50% official working hours." Except for the security and health services, as well as other measures."
